Kerala Beach Tour

Day 01 : Arrive Cochin - Varkala

Upon arrival in Cochin, meeting and assistance followed by transfer to Varkala. On arrival checkin at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Varkala

Breakfast at the hotel, Morning visit the Portugese church of Anjengo dated to the time of occupation, which maybe the Elanchoros of the geography of Ptomempee (2nd century A.D.). Also visit the English Fort constructed in 1695 A.D. by the English 'East India Company'. Rest of the day relax on beach. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 : Varkala - Kumarakom

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Kumarakom (100 kms), On arrival checkin at hotel. Afternoon visit the superb Bird Sanctuary in adjacent wooded marshland - which boasts of egrets, tree pies, black headed orioles, bee-eaters & a whole host of herons. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 : Kumarakom

Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day free for self activities (You can opt for Ayurvedic therapy on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 : Kumarakom - Periyar

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Periyar (120 kms), On arrival checkin at hotel. Afternoon boatcruise on the Lake of the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary to see wild life. Periyar Lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is the heart of the Wildlife Sanctuary wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even Tigers come to shores of the lake for a drink. Thereafter at leisure to explore the neighboring spice market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 : Periyar - Cochin

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Cochin. On arrival drop you at airport or railway station to connect flight/train for onward destination.
