Kerala Backwater Tour

01 Day: Cochin - Munnar (130 kms)

Arrive at Cochin International Airport/Railway Station where our representative meets you and transfer to Munnar, the beautiful hill station of Kerala. Check in to the hotel. Cover local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.

02 Day: - Munnar

Today after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Munnar. Enjoy panoramic views of Anaimudi, the highest peak of South India at 2695 m, is visible from Munnar. Visit the Christ Church and proceed for wildlife watching at Eravikulam National Park (16 km). Madupetty Dam, a famous picnic spot for boating and horse riding en route to Top Station. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

03 Day: Munnar - Thekkady (Periyar) (106 Kms)

After Breakfast depart to Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary). Check in your hotel. In afternoon go for a boat ride at Periyar Tiger Reserve to view the wildlife in the sanctuary. The boat ride in the lake is delightful way of spotting Elephant and Avifauna, for which the park is well known. Overnight stay at the hotel.

04 Day: Thekkady - Kumarakom (140 Kms)

Leave for Kumarakom (3½ hours). On arrival you will visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. You can enjoy the water adventure sports at own cost. Evening spend the time at Vembanand Lake. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kumarakom.

05 Day: Kumarakom - Alleppey (27 kms)

After break fast transfer to the Alleppey the Venice of the East. Here transfer you to A/c deluxe Houseboat. Explore the Kerala's natural beauty backwaters beauty. House boat will take you to the virgin villages of Kerala to explore the real life of Kerala people. Overnight stay at House Boat.

06 Day: Alleppey - Cochin (80 kms)

After breakfast drive to Cochin. On arrival do city sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit Fort Cochin, Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday and Sunday, opening time 9:30 am to 4:00 pm) at Mattancherry, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets. Later transfer you to the airport/train station for onward destination.
