Bhubneshwar - Puri Tour

Day 01 : Arrive Buhbneshwar

Upon arrival in Bhubneshwar meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Later visits Bhubaneswar – temples seen are Rajarani , Lingaraj , Mukteswar , Brahmeshwar , Vaital and Parashurameswar . Overnight stay at hotel.

Bhubneshwar : The capital city of Orissa is better known as ‘the temple city of India’ for its hundreds of temples and hereditary Oriyan temple building skills over one thousand years old. Bhubaneswar is perceived as an important Hindu pilgrimage center as it is home to the prominent Lord Lingaraj or Tribhubaneswar, besides other temples dotting its landscape.

The old town manifesting the cultural heritage of Orissa is harmonized with the modern times by the new Bhubaneswar with its tall buildings and extensive infrastructure, rendering it an ideal tourist destination over all.

Day 02 : Bhubneshwa-Puri (65 Kms / 2 hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Puri, enroute visit Heerapur , Pipli and Raghurajpur .On arrival checkin at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Puri : Most popular as the abode of Lord Jagannath and one of the four religious centers of India, Puri offers a mystic pilgrimage to stout devotees with its host of temples, holy tanks and monasteries filling the horizons with a religious milieu.

The temple of Lord Jagannath is also the tallest historic monument standing 65 meters tall and built by Chodaganga Deva in 12th century A. D. The architecture of the temple is magnificent and glorifies the ancient time and culture. The sunny beach at Puri offers an amazing sunrise with a peaceful and numinous message.

Day 03 : Puri-Konark-Puri (70 Kms round trip)

Breakfast at the hotel & full day Excursion to Konark. Overnight stay at hotel.

Konark : is one of the well known tourist attractions of Orissa. Konark, Konark houses a colossal temple dedicated to the Sun God. Even in its ruined state it is a magnificient temple reflecting the genius of the architects that envisioned and built it. Bhubneshwar, Konark & Puri constitute the Golden triangle of Orissa, visited in large numbers by pilgrims and tourists.

Day 04 : Puri-Bhubneshwar (65 Kms / 2 Hrs )

Breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Bhubneshwar. On arrival Bhubneshwar drop you at airport or railway station to catch flight/train for onward destination. Overnight stay at hotel.
