Chamba Tour
Day 01 : Delhi-Rishikesh (235 Kms / 6 hrs drive)
Early morning pickup you from your own destination and drive to Rishikesh. On arrival in Rishikesh checkin at Hotel. Evening visit Temple's, Ashrams & Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay at hotel.
Rishikesh located in the laps of lower Himalayas, and is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it. The whole place is considered to be sacred as it is believed that meditation at this place leads to attainment of salvation. There are many temples-some ancient, some new along the river Ganges. Rishikesh is important not only as pilgrimage centre closely associated with the Ramayana, but also as home for many important centres of Hindu religious thought and spirituality, and as a very great Yoga Centre. There are a great many ashrams and Yoga institutes here. Rishikesh is also the gateway and the start-off point for journeys to important religious places like Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri.
Day 02 : Rsihikesh-Chamba ( 60 Kms / 2 hrs drive)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Chamba. On arrival checkin at Hotel. Later visit Tehri Dam & New Tehri town. Overnight stay at hotel.
Chamba - is an unexplored, untouched, serene destination located at an altitude of 1676 m, 60 km from Mussoorie, in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand.
An unspoilt territory and covered with lots of pine and deodar trees, Chamba offers a never explored interlude. Unlike Mussoorie, the place is very quiet, serene and offers picturesque beauty and is an excellent place to relax and fun and drive away the city blues. One can reach Chamba in about two hours from Rishikesh.
Day 03 : Chamba
Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Surkanda Devi Temple: Located 24 km from Chamba, one of the Shaktipeeth, Surkanda Devi Temple is a famous pilgrimage centre in the Himalayas. 3 km trek takes you to the temple complex, at the top of the hills. Afternoon free for relax. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Chamba-Delhi (290 Kms / 8 hrs drive)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi drop you at your own place.
