Day 01: Arrive Pathankot – Dalhousie (80 kms / 3-4 hrs drive)

On arrival at Pathankot railway station meet with our representative and drive to Dalhousie. On arrival check in at the hotel. Dalhousie was established in 1854 by the British Governor General Lord Dalhousie. Built around five hills Dalhousie is clothed in stately groves of deodar and oak. Its marvelous forests trails overlook vistas of wooded hills, waterfalls, spring and rivulets. Dalhousie still has a touch of the “Raj” and its colonial style building and houses bring back the flavors of an earlier era. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02 : Dalhousie – Chamba – Khajjiar – Dalhousie (52 kms each side)

Morning after breakfast proceed to Chamba en-route visiting Khajjair. Located at the center of the sloping meadows is a small bog like pond into which water from the surrounding meadows and forests drains. Khajjiar was probably a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan ice age and left with a lake that gradually withered away. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary. The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times has become relatively difficult to spot nowadays. Return to Dalhousie. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03 : Dalhousie – Dharamshala (150 kms / 5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive to Dharamshala. Tibet has lent importance to Mcleod Ganj. Mcleodganj is a famous little town of Dharamshala also known as “Little Tibet” H. H. The Dalai Lama resides here. At the start of Mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery. The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayes wheels. With in the monastery are large idols of Buddha. A valokteshwara and Padamsambhava and walls lined with Thanks. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04: Dharamshala

Morning after breakfast full day excursion around Dharmshala visit including Mcleodgang, War Memorial, Kunnal Pathri, Bhagasunath. Overnight stay at hotel.

Mcleod Ganj, The Buddha temple is situated opposite the present abode of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. This place is well worth a visit and around it is situated Tibetan monasteries and nunnery. A number of residential buildings, restaurants, antique and curio shops are present. There is an annual 10-day fair opera in Dharamshala, which takes place on the second Saturday of April.

Kunnal Pathri , Just 3-km level walk from Kotwali Bazaar, is a rock temple of the local goddess at Kunnal Pathri spots.

Lord Eligin's Memorial Church of St. John, It is a world-famous church built in the memory of lord Elgin, the Scottish working peer and eighth Viceroy. In 1896, he took vacations from official Shimla. He was not able to finish his four-year term and died in Dharamshala. Before his death he had given instructions to be buried in the Church of St. John. Inside the church is the monument of this Viceroy.

The Shrine of Bhagasunath, The shrine of Bhagasunath is famous for its ancient temple. It is 11km from lower town. Slate quarries are found here. There is a tank and spring which are considered sacred by the Hindus.

Day 05: Dharamshala – Pathankot, 90 km

Morning after breakfast drive to Pathankot. On arrival transfer to the railway station to board the train for onward destination
