Day 01 : Arrival at Bangalore
On arrival at the airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Bangalore - Bannerghatta, 22 km - Bangalore
After breakfast full day excursion to Bannerghatta national Park.
For a walk on the wild side, look no further than the southern outskirts of Bangalore city, where you can find everything from avifauna to panthers in the Bannerghatta National Park. The 25,000 acre park is home to panthers, lions, tigers and a large variety of birds. Indulge your sense of adventure with a lion and tiger safari. You could also wander through the Zoological Garden, with its canopy of shady and sturdy trees, find a quiet resting spot beside a pond and watch waterfowl frolic.
Day 03 : Bangalore - Mysore, 139 km
After breakfast drive to Mysore. On arrival check into hotel. Later city tour visiting Mysore Palace, Chamundi hills, Brindawan Gardens.
Day 04 : Mysore - Ranganathittu, 20 km - Mysore
Full day excursion to Ranganathittu Bird sanctuary. Watch the numerous birds and the crocodiles. Overnight at Bangalore hotel. The bird sanctuary, situated on the banks of the Kaveri River, includes of a group of six islets as well. The isolated islets and the abundance of aquatic insects during the monsoon make Ranganathittu a favorite abode for birds. Ranganathittu attained the status of a bird sanctuary in 1940, courtesy of the visions of India.
Birds : Spoonbills, open bill storks, darters, white Ibis, little cormorants, egret, heron, partridge, river tern, stone plougher, snake bird, and other exotic bird species that fly to the sanctuary in large flocks. Local inhabitants like kingfishers and peacocks are also found in this avian bliss.
Day 05 : Mysore - Nagarhole National Park, 80 km
Morning drive southwards to Nagarhole. On arrival check into Forest Lodge. in the afternoon jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at forest lodge.
Due to the high rainfall in the region, the National Park consists of numerous open grassy swamps known as the 'hadlus' in the local language, which remain green perennially. The dry as well as the moist deciduous forests cover the whole area mainly consisting of the floral species like teak and eucalyptus. Wildlife at Nagarhole National Park.
The animals that are commonly seen in the national park are: tiger, leopard, panther, sloth bear, gaur, elephant, sambhar, chital and other mammals like muntjac, the tiny mouse deer, giant squirrel, slender loris, langurs, wild boar, pangolin and macaques. The Park has about 250 bird species like Malabar trogan, the Indian Pitta, green imperial pigeon the Malabar pied hornbill and the great black woodpecker. The jungle cat, leopard cat and rusty spotted cat are also the other wildlife species within the national park.
Day 06 : Nagarhole National Park
Morning jeep safari to the national park, in the afternoon coracle ride and Elephant ride for wildlife viewing. rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at forest lodge.
Day 07 : Nagarhole - Bandipur National Park, 130 km
Morning after breakfast at the forest lodge drive to Bandipur National Park. On arrival check in at the forest lodge. in hte afternoon jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight staty at hotel.
The Moyer River forms a natural boundary between the Mudumalain Wildlife Sanctuary in Tamilnadu and the Bandipur National Park in Karnataka. Nestling at the foothills of the Nilgiris, the Bandipur National Park was formed by extending the Venugopal Wildlife Park which was set up in 1931 by the Mysore Maharajas.
A popular game resort of the rulers of Mysore, the flora in the forest comprises of teak, rosewood, honne, mathi, bamboo, sandal trees. The important animals in the park are the tiger, elephant, gaur, leopard, chital, samber, etc. Birds like the pea fowl, partrige, quail, hornbill, Ibis, etc., are alsofound here.
Day 08 : Bandipur National Park
Morning Jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Afternoon free at leisure. In the evening nature walk to the national park. Overnight stay at forest lodge.
Commonly found wild animals are Tiger, elephant, gaur, leopard, chital, sambar, sloth bear, barking deer, wild boar, wild dog, jackal,mouse-deer, four-horned antelope, common langur,porcupine, otler, pangolin, malabar squirrel, civer cat,leopard, hares, jungle cat, bonnet macaque, etc.
And birds are Pea fowl, grey jungle fowl, partridge, quail, paradise fly catcher, hornbill, wood pecker, ibis, stork,sun bird, flower pecket, thrush, crested hawk eagle, serpent eagle, drango, cuckoo, oriole, minivet, wagtail, myna, blue jay, king fisher, etc.
Day 09 : Bandipur - Ooty, 80 km
Morning after breakfast drive to Ooty. on arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit the Botanical garden, Doddabetta Peak and sprawling tea plantations. Overnight at the hotel.
Udhagamandalam (Ooty), the capital of Nilgiri district, is popularly known as the "Queen of hill stations' among the tourist circuits. It is situated at a distance of 105 km away from Coimbatore. The height of the hills in the Nilgiri range varies between 2280 and 2290 metres, the highest peak being Doddabetta at a height of 2623 metres. The establishment of numerous tea estates made Ooty famous. Lofty mountains, dense forest, sprawling grasslands and miles and miles of tea gardens greet the passengers on most routes.
Day 10 : Ooty
Morning after breakfast full day an excursion tour to Toda Village and watch the fascinating tribal culture. Overnight stay at hotel.
Todas are the nature worshipping tribe living among the Nilgiri mountains in Southern India. They have their own language, rich arts and crafts and a unique way of community living. Animal raising is their primary profession.
Day 11 : Ooty - Bangalore, 290 km
Morning after breakfast drive Bangalore. On arrival transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
