Delhi - Bhandarej
Day 01 : Delhi / Bhandarej
Early morning drive to Bhandarej.
Bhandarej is located in Dausa district on the Jaipur-Agra highway. It has a colourful and fascinating history which gives one a glimpse into the princely states.
On arrival in Bhandarej - check into Bhadrawati Palace.
Bhadrawati Palace - A well maintained palace, it is an interesting blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. It has courtyards, arched windows and traditionally painted verandahs. Located just 5 kms from the palace is a camping site with orchards and lush green fields.

Afternoon camel safari on the sand dunes followed with service of Tea/Coffee. |

Optional : Take a guided walk through the Village for an insight into the village life. Dinner at the palace with folk music.
Days 02 : Bhandarej / Bharatpur / Delhi
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning drive to Bharatpur.
Upon arrival, proceed by cycle rickshaws to the famous
Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. Here over 350 species of birds find refuge in the 29 sq kms of shallow lakes & wood lands of the park. A third of them are migrants many of whom spend winter in Bharatpur before returning to their breeding grounds as far away as Siberia and Central Asia. This sanctuary is the creation of the Maharja of Bharatpur in the late 19th century, who recognized the area's potential and augmented the water supply by diverting water from a nearby irrigation canal. He also constructed small dams, dykes and shooting butts & in a few years the new ecosystem so flourished that it was able to support thousands of water birds.
Thereafter, drive to Delhi enroute stop for Lunch.
